Merry Christmas from Orantec
By The Orantec Team.
Merry Christmas one and all!
2016 is ending, and what a year it has been for the team here at Orantec. One of the biggest changes we have had this year is moving from our old offices in Cathays, to our new offices in Llanishen. Our new space has really revitalised our company, and we're all ready to continue offering our clients our fantastic web design and digital marketing services in the new year!
A year of great writing
If you haven't had a chance to catch up with the fantastic blogs we have written this year, why not treat yourself and have a quiet browse this festive season?
First, we launched our Digital Marketing for Beginners Guide, where we explained the basics of SEO, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Pay-Per-Click Marketing. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of these subjects, and we wanted to pay our expertise forward.
We also continued our series on how the team’s university degrees prepared them for a job in SEO, with Marion and Stephen writing about their time studying Trilingual Judicial and Technical Translation, and Journalism respectively. These blogs joined Ashley’s 2015 blog post about English Literature and SEO.
To celebrate the launch of a new season of Black Mirror on Netflix, we looked at how accurately social media was portrayed, and learnt that sometimes fact is stranger than fiction! What’s more, this year, we were lucky enough to have a guest blog written for us by Software Developer Aurelien Thieriot, who surprised us with some fun facts about the world of IT.
Of course, no holiday period is complete without board games, which is why we started 2016 with a guide to the best board games to make you a digital marketing superstar, and there’s no Cluedo or Monopoly in sight!
We look forward to bringing you even more great blogs in 2017.
We close the office today and re-open on January 3rd. So, all that’s left to say is that we hope that everyone who helped make 2016 such a great year for Orantec have a great holiday, and if you’re looking to boost you company’s web presence in the new year, why not get in touch?
From Richard, Nick, Stephen, Ashley, Ruth, Claire and Marion:
Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
